Sign World is a certified woman owned business by the
Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). 

Our facility is located in Charlotte, North Carolina for easy access to customers in North and South Carolina.  Sign World is a UL approved company and an active member of WSA, ISA, and SESA.

Jerry McKenzie founded Sign World in 1975 to provide commercial sign services for Charlotte and its surrounding areas.  Mr. McKenzie serves as president of the company and is active in its day-to-day operations.  He has more than 40 years experience working in the sign industry, and his reputation is one of demanding top quality work in all areas of sign service and production.

Debbie McKenzie joined the staff of Sign World in 1998 and currently serves as CEO.  Debbie gleaned hands-on experience in the sign industry as owner of Signs First in Mooresville.

Today, Debbie and Jerry own and operate Sign World with a staff of ten full-time employees.  The company enjoys a base of national clients that depend on Sign World for outstanding installation, service and manufacturing services.
